Let the Truth Be Told

Be careful what you say around others and know the company you are in because what you say can be misheard or misinterpreted as something entirely different. If the penalty for speaking untruths were death or torture, people would definitely be more careful. One time (in 1977), I had travelled back to my home town for a friend’s wedding. One person misconstrued what I said about my trip on the plane and there was hell to pay with my family. My family chose to believe the lie that was told instead of listening to my protestations to the contrary. This is the case to this day. When you have a member of the family so willing to beat you down and do everything they can to keep you down, that is hard to deal with. You must take the high road in all circumstances and wait patiently for the truth to come out, for the sake of your own self and those close to you.
